⭐President’s Message

Many of us have been more than ready for all things fall. We started planning for The Fall Festival a while back and are very excited. This is one of those special events that brings our whole Springer community together. From Trunk-or-Treat and the Springer Family Vendor Market to food trucks, and plenty of fun. It takes a lot of helping hands to make something like this happen. Often an hour of your help makes all the difference! If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, now is a great time to jump in. When you fill out the Volunteer Interest Form it lets us know how you’d prefer to help. We’ll send you volunteer opportunities that match your interests and availability. The list of volunteer opportunities will be updated as we go, so keep an eye out for what suits you best.

There’s several fun things happening before then. Tomorrow is walk & roll to school. Get up a little earlier ready to explore. It’s going to be wild.

⭐Fall Festival Oct 29

This year’s Fall Festival will be Thursday, October 29 from 5-7. We need some help from our community to make this fun event happen! Volunteer at the event here!

🎃Trunk or Treat

Sign up to decorate a trunk here! The prize for best decorated trunk will be 2 wristbands to the Spring Carnival.

🍬Candy Donations

The candy monster has returned, and he’s HUNGRY! The candy monster will gladly accept your Springer’s offerings of candy through October 28. The candy will be used at trunk or treat. Thank you for helping us make this community event a success!

🧶Vendor Market

Our Springer Family market is back! Registration forms will be sent home this week. This market is for homemade items and we especially encourage our Springers to grab a friend and sell their crafted items! Vendor table spots are free for PTA members and $10 for non-members (grab that membership here!).

🎃Spooky, Sweet & Inclusive Trick or Treat

Get ready for our very first Spooky, Sweet & Inclusive Trick or Treat! This year, we’ll also be hosting a sensory-friendly alternative to trunk or treat in the gym! The goal is simple: a smaller, quieter environment for all abilities. We need decor donations to make it happen!

We have the following table themes established that we need tablecloths and candy bowls for: Under the Sea, Outer Space, Welcome to the Jungle, and GOAL! (soccer-themed). One table is complete with a Cars/Hot Wheels theme. We’d like to add three more themed tables! Feel free to finish an established theme or create an entirely new one! Each table will need a tablecloth, a candy/treat bowl and other décor such as balloons, wall hangings, etc.

DECOR RULES: No flashing lights; no motion-sensor decor; no loud noises.

We are also looking for non-candy treat alternatives and fidget/favors to hand out.

More information on the event will be coming out later this month.

Email Beth Sanmartin at yearbook@springfieldparkpta.org with any questions! Donations can be dropped off in the main office.
